7.2 Ticketing Platforms and Third-Party Services

If you purchase or register through external platforms (e.g., Eventbrite, DICE, Resident Advisor, Shotgun, venue ticketing systems), their collection and handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.
We may receive limited data from these platforms for event operations and communication.

7.3 Venue Safety, Security, and ID Verification

Events may require:

  • Age verification

  • ID review or scanning

  • Bag checks

  • Security footage

  • Incident documentation

This information is collected to ensure compliance with law, maintain safety standards, and protect guests and staff.
We do not store ID images unless required for compliance or security purposes.

If you upload or tag content featuring Groove Society, you grant us a non-exclusive license to repost or reference that content across our digital platforms. Reposting does not imply endorsement or any formal association.

7.10 Third-Party Promoters, Hosts, and Lists

If you enter an event through guest lists, promoters, hosts, or third-party ticket sellers, their data practices are independent of ours. Only information collected directly through Groove Society systems is covered by this policy.

8. Communications

We may send service-related alerts, system notices, or transactional messages. Promotional communications can be opted out of. Mandatory notices require account deactivation to discontinue.

9. Underage Use

The Services and events are not intended for individuals under age 21. We do not knowingly collect information from persons under 21. Any such data will be removed.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control their privacy practices. Review their policies before submitting information.

11. Messaging Terms (SMS/MMS)
